the good- I wasn’t sure if I needed a L or XL. I ordered an XL (200lb, 5’4, 3.5mo pp) and it is super comfortable. Could probably have done a large, but it’s cozy and warm. You have only taken it off to wash it. The color is pretty (rust), the inside is so soft and not pilly like a cotton sweatshirt, so wearing it without a base layer is comfy. It’s a soft, brushed material.a little long for my short torso, but not crazy long. Easy to nurse in at home, and snuggly.
The bad- I’ve never owned anything that i couldn’t spot clean between washes. T shirts, blouses, hoodies, boutique tops, cardigans- they could all be spot cleaned with a rag or a wipe. But not this. Water doesn’t leave a spot, like it does on the nest wrap, but everything else that touches it leaves a stain. And even treating in the wash with stain treatments didn’t get them all out, only some. This is every day life stains, nothing huge.
I am a mama of 6, we cook 3 meals a day at home, and I nurse and supplement. I can’t keep my clothes free of “stuff,” so I’m incredibly disappointed that a company for breastfeeding mamas would make a product so expensive, and then it stains from the smallest things. I’m a laundry fanatic, and this just doesn’t cut it. I understand not using stain resistant chemicals in the fabrics, but then use a fabric that doesn’t stain as easily? I don’t know. But for the price, this just isn’t good enough for breastfeeding. Baby dribbles, runny noses, spit up, baby sneezes, soapy water-all stains that I can’t just scrub off. I have to spray and do a complete wash and hope it comes out. There’s no way this fabric will hold up to 4-5 washes a week. It’s already faded after 2 washes. Pretty disappointing.

I love in these hoodies! I have two and both are so versatile! I live in the Midwest and these suckers keep me warm in near freezing temps, and they are so comfortable and easy to use! I love to pair them with my nursing tanks for easy nursing access! I'm currently quite pregnant too and my normal size still fits me great!
