Latched Mama Drawstring T-Shirt Nursing Dress

Love this dress style!!!! So flowy and pretty. Fits great and love that it's a nursing dress that isn't obvious.

I’m currently 19 weeks pregnant and sooooo appreciate that this dress is maternity-friendly as well as meant for nursing. The length is very flattering (not too revealing) and I’m really looking forward to warm spring weather so I can start wearing my new dress!! Also really excited for summer time to have an easy piece for nursing when this baby is here. The only thing I’ll note is that the color is slightly different than in the pictures. It looks more grey in the photos online but is a warmer beige (this is the leopard pattern).

Nice dress and comfy! I bought it on dark blue and I looked dressy while wearing it. No more leggings! Perfect for spring/summer. It has pockets too !!

I like this dress and I’ve ordered a few patterns but some of them do not wear like the others. I purchased a black, mermaid print, blue floral and colorful stripe dress. The black and mermaid dress have held up great in the wash. I wear those 2 the most. The blue floral and colorful stripe have faded so much after just a few washes, they look years old compared to just a few months old.

I wish the quality of fabric was the same for all the prints in this particular type of dress .

Love this dress and the material!!! It breathes but has enough weight to not be see through. I only wish I saw it sooner to get a pattern too!!

The perfect LBD to dress up or down. The length is great (I’m 5’6”) and the style is forgiving on a postpartum body.

I absolutrly love the 2 of this same style dress I have from my first pregnancy 3 years ago! I treated myself and bought Summer Stripes for my current pregnancy, but my excitment quickly soured to disappointment. The fabric is too thin. You can see panty, panty line, and the stripes of the nursing layer through it. A neutral color for the nursing layer would be better. Also, had a discolorartion spot on the side the size of a fingernail. Feels more like a knock off version but was still name brand price.

LOVE all latched Mama drawstring styles only wish the colorway was more cream than orange-still beautiful and most flattering style!!

First off, I want to say the fabric feels luxurious. I love the patterns and the style of the dress (could be slightly longer.) However, the thin fabric makes it that my underwear will almost always show. Being 7+ months pregnant, I don't want to have to wear a thong to keep my panty line from showing. I have it in both teal breeze and summer stripes. A second downfall of summer stripes is that because the fabric is thin, and the colors are light, you see the second breastfeeding friendly layer underneath. It doesn't matter what color bra I wear. Even with a skin colored bra, you still see the second layer of fabric underneath, which makes it looks like you can see my bra. Both of these pitfalls are not ideal as a middle school teacher.

Normally I love these dresses. This print arrived with a pinhole which doesn't leave me with much confidence for how durable the fabric is going to be. It's a shame, because it's a beautiful color.

I can’t speak to the patterns, but I have this style in the mermaid print and I absolutely love it!! It’s so comfy and I can easily wear it to school to teach or to church or just at home! I wear it all the time!

The pattern on this dress is cute but I'm really bummed because it is see through, especially in sunlight. Having to wear something under the dress to keep it from being see through defeats the point of it being a nursing dress,

This is my second purchase of this style, and it is so great! I'm 5 ft 2, bra 34F, 135lbs and petite but sportier build. I love the length on this dress more than the midi; keeping my eye out for more colors! It is oh so stretchy and soft, which is fabulous when your body is still a bit of a wreck, and mom life is tough. The drawstring close on the front nursing panel is one of my favorite nursing styles out there. It is so nice to be able to cinch in the top piece to give some feeling of shape back after baby, and it provides ample coverage for nursing in pubic. This dress style has gone with me from pregnancy to just chasing my toddler around bc it is easy to throw on and go. As suggestion, not really complaints: the pockets could be sturdier, it makes the dress sag if anything goes in there, but it's good in a pinch. The loss of fabric others mention after washing I only got after wearing my last one once a week for a year: I think it was worth it. I got the teal this time, and a light gray 2 years ago; the teal is almost too stretchy (I can't believe I'm saying that) now that I'm getting back to "normal" with baby #2. I just love it. I need a color for every day of the week.

I am officially done buying from Latched Mama. The quality just isn’t good anymore. Everything I own is falling apart. This one was see through and the stitching was off. Returned it.

I am 5'5, weigh 135, have a bust size of 37 inches. I ordered a small in the teal dots and absolutely love it. It is very stretchy fabric, is very cute and is super comfortable. I would order this again in different patterns or colors.
No complaints.

I am so glad that I took a chance on the fern stripe drawstring during the Last Chance sale. The drawstring dresses are cute, flattering, and has pockets! My only complaint is that the stripes are a bit mismatched- particularly around the neckline.

I have shirts in this similar cut so I know I’d love the flattering style of the tie. This dress is so incredibly comfortable, it’s literally all I want to wear now 😍

The Blue Grey Dots drawstring is SO soft and comfortable! Definitely feel adorable wearing it! Great length! I am 5’2”, 125-130lbs, 38inch bust, size small and it hits just above my knees and fits well. The material did snag twice with my first wear, once just from the rough skin/cuticles on the side of my fingernail, so be mindful of that when washing, I would definitely hang to dry.

I finally decided to try a drawstring dress when the new Blue Grey Dots print came out. It is AMAZING! The fabric is super breathable, stretchy and forgiving, soft, and so flattering for my waistline. I know it won't pill and will last with washes as it feels similar to one of my favorite red star boyfriend tee's from a few seasons ago. I'm 5'4" and the length hits perfect just at my knees. I know it will be great layered with leggings, boots, and a cardigan for fall, or on it's own in those warmer spring/summer days. I originally thought the drawstring would make it look too much like a maternity dress (bc let's face it ppl still comment on my baby bump 2 years post partum lol), but it blends right in with the cute print. The drawstring dress is usually my favorite Latched Mama item, but the fern stripe is AWFUL. The material is completely see through. I won’t be able to wear this anywhere. The print also doesn’t fit like my other drawstring dresses. So sad, and I cannot return it since it was last chance.

I ordered this dress in Fern Stripe and was very excited about it. However the fabric was see-through and I am unable to wear it out in public. If the material was not see through I would be buying lot more of these as otherwise they really look good and fit well.

If you don’t yet own a nursing dress this or the maxi is the place to start. Perfect pregnant and post partum. Makes you feel like a million bucks but also so so comfy.

The drawstring dresses are probably my favorite LM dress to wear because the nursing access is so easy and you can adjust the tightness a little bit by how you tie. I also prefer the length of them over most their other dresses. The drawstring dresses hit around my knee, sometimes a bit below, and I'm 5'6" and long legged. Other dresses from them are most often mid-calf. The nursing access on most of them, I'll admit, is a bit wonky and doesn't quite line up with my bust. However, with the access flap down you can't tell a bit. I do wish the drawstring was elasticized so that it was easier to lift up the nursing access without untying. I can do it on my older drawstring dresses that are cotton blend but not the newer ones that are different material. Note that the drawstring detail is only on the front, so from the back it just looks like a t-shirt dress.
